The 23 year old has struck up a great partnership with Cameroon striker and together the pair have found the net 13 times. But Shakir’s overall work ethic and intelligent play has been sensational, for that he has six goals to his name. The nifty forward often drops deep to collect possession, and when he has the ball within goal sight Negeri always look like scoring. Shakir is also gifted with both feet and can shoot from anywhere within the danger zone. If this lad continues playing like this he can pip the likes of Forkey Doe and Shahril Ishak to the Golden Boot award. |
